This is us
BankInvest acts with careThis is our pledge to investors, owners, employees and other stakeholders
Strongly inspired by the co-operative movement, a number of banks created BankInvest in 1969 as a jointly owned sector company that would offer some of the first investment units on the Danish market. In a complex world, the principle of co-operation makes more sense than ever.
When local and nationwide banks stand behind BankInvest, they can compete on asset management on an equal footing with the very largest banks. Together, we can provide better investment solutions to customers, at a higher quality and at a lower price.
Investing other people’s money is a matter of trust. It is a responsibility that we take on with pride and respect. Robust risk management and integrity guide our every action. BankInvest continuously works to be the integrated, value-adding link between financial markets and banks and their customers. We want to be their confidential collaborative partner and most commendable asset management supplier.
We want to create the best possible results – but not at any cost. Consideration and responsibility outweighs the desire to make that last, extra cent. Our success must rest on an active interplay with norms and international agreements on working conditions, environment, climate, human rights and other conditions that affect human life.
Our contribution to a better world will always be guided by a realistic approach. We select investments with the greatest possible appreciation of the fact that companies and states that act responsibly will create the greatest long-term value.
We go to work every day to create long-term value and financial opportunities for our investors and shareholders. We remain conscious of the fact that our investment decisions make a difference to many people – both in the local Danish society and the rest of the world.
If you assume responsibility, you sometimes also make errors. We will always make an effort and act in a proper and responsible manner. Not just for our own sake, but mainly for our clients and society.
